The Renewal Manager position will be responsible for owning and executing a large portfolio of renewal contracts in an assigned multinational territory. Renewal Managers are responsible for creating strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders such as Customer Success and Sales to secure every renewal. 

You are driven, curious, intelligent and deeply passionate about your craft. You will remove barriers to customer retention and collaborate with the broader customer success team to deliver a high value customer experience at time of renewal. 

Responsible for: 

  • You will own, drive, and lead the renewals process in collaboration with the CSM and the Account team to preserve and enhance customer contracts and relationships. 
  • Partner with the CSM/AE teams to fully understand and develop a clear renewal strategy for each customer based on data driven decisions.
  • Follow and adhere to best practices for all internal processes including, but not limited to, Opportunity Management, Data Quality and Accuracy, CRM Hygiene, Quotations and Forecasting.  
  • You will be responsible for identifying customer requirements and uncover roadblocks to ensure on-time commitments. 
  • Provide executive management with complete visibility to renewals and solicit executive involvement as required.
  • Accurately maintain/update a rolling 90 day forecast of renewals 
  • Leverage customer data and behavior to assess the health of each renewal
  • Acts as a Renewals brand ambassador. 

Required skills

  • Experience in Renewal/Contract management
  • Strong level of urgency, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to project manage the renewal cycle, pulling in necessary resources
  • Strong process management, financial acumen, and adherence to policy
  • Ability to react and adapt to potential rapid shifts in priorities and organizational policies. 
  • Ability to grow business strategically, i.e. creating new processes and initiatives
  • Fluency in English and other languages (german, danish)
  • Experience with enterprise CRM or customer service application, particularly
