Talent Acquisition Specialist

We’re in the search of a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture department. 

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Mynewsdesk you will play an important role in making sure that our organization has the right people on board at the right time. You will recruit a variety of roles and seniority levels within product, sales, marketing and more. You will take on a leading role in setting the Talent Acquisition strategy and the way forward.

 You will get the possibility to work across all functions within the organisation and help each department in finding and hiring the right candidates. We are now building our Talent Acquisition function so this role will be able to set and plan for a Talent Acquisition strategy and the way forward.


  • Represent Mynewsdesk values and culture when in contact with candidates
  • Work closely with our managers in recruitment processes
  • Act proactively and deliver on the organisations' specific recruitment needs
  • Take ownership of the recruitment process
  • Make sure Mynewsdesk has an extraordinary candidate experience
  • Hands-on recruitment tasks; publish and market ads, search of candidates, first screening, coordinate interviews
  • Set a Talent Acquisition strategy
  • Together with People team work with employer branding initiatives

Who are you?

You are a driven person who loves all parts of talent acquisition.You are responsible, you take ownership and see tasks through to completion. You have a curious mindset that is combined with a drive to improve processes and ways of working. 

As a professional you are engaged and driven, you have great experience in all stages of the recruitment process. You are equally keen managing a process yourself as you are in coaching and helping the recruiting manager fill vacancies.  

As a recruiter you are well versed in handling the full process, you are engaged in all stages of the process and can help the manager find the right candidate for each position. Your main tasks will be sourcing and recruiting. You enjoy networking via LinkedIn, phone or other available channels. 

Since you will be the Talent Acquisition Specialist for Mynewsdesk, you will also be responsible for the training of managers and the rest of the organisation, so we believe you are no stranger to being in the center of attention and freely sharing your experience to help others reach excellence.


  • Recruitment experience 
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A good understanding of the tech industry - it's a plus if you have a strong network within the tech industry that can provide value for you when searching for candidates.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English
