We are looking for an outstanding Manager Sales (f/m) to join the German branch. In this position you will take leadership responsibility for our growing sales team in Munich, shape and implement business development strategies as well as working operationally within sales. This role will play a crucial part in moving the German business to the next level as we continue to grow strongly.


This role will be responsible for:

LEADING THE TEAM:

  • You will lead and actively grow the Munich sales team. You will take charge of attracting and recruiting new sales stars into your team.
  • You will ongoingly develop the team and individuals, ensuring effective onboarding and developing them into high performing sales representatives.
  • You will drive organizational change within your team, setting up and implementing effective processes and structures as the organization keeps growing.
  • You will be responsible for the team's revenue performance by managing and supporting each sales individual. Measuring and proactively driving performance through KPIs, forecasts, commits as well as reporting will be part of your daily managerial business.
  • You will act as a strong cultural role model, living and leading the Mynewsdesk way.

DEVELOPING THE BUSINESS:

  • You play a vital role in shaping the sales organization, where you are continuously driving the development of people, structures and new business opportunities to reach sales excellence and with it, the revenue goals of your team
  • You are an essential part in planning and executing the sales strategy and new projects, developing and nurturing the D-A-CH region.
  • You yourself will be operating within new business, building strategic relationships and realizing own revenue targets.


Who you are:

  • You bring in a couple of years of leadership experience in a growth company, preferably in the online or SaaS-sector or in the field of digitalization.
  • You have a proven track record in sales management and in leading and developing high performing sales teams.
  • You show a high level of entrepreneural thinking and strategic approaches - you see, evaluate and realize new business opportunities, you are willing to take risks and try out new things.
  • You are a true self-starter with a positive mindset - your work approach is characterized by a strong proactivity, a high sense of responsibility, endurance and a great amount of initiative.
  • You show a strong drive and high commitment when it comes to setting challenging targets and reaching revenue goals.
  • You bring in a strong people approach - you lead by example, you are able to see strengths and talents in your employees, develop them through coaching and individual support as well as being able to engage, motivate and inspire - our key factors to drive performance.
  • You show a high level of seniority with a courteous appearance, assertiveness and problem-solving competency.
  • You are an excellent relationship builder - with colleagues as well as with business customers. You are socially intelligent, you show great empathy and you are a strong and convincing communicator.
  • You actively drive business results by your own sales activities - you are a business hunter that follows a consultative selling approach and is strong at closing.
